Description

Palácio de Dom Manuel I, also known as the Paços de Évora, is one of the city's most significant historical landmarks. Located in the Public Garden, it is one of the last remnants of the former royal residence where King Dom Manuel I held his court in the 16th century. The palace showcases a unique blend of Gothic, Manueline, and Renaissance architectural styles. The only remaining section, the "Gallery of the Ladies," is renowned for its decorative arches and intricate stonework. Today, the space is used for cultural events and temporary exhibitions.
